'07 Emails and Letters
Hello Ladies!!
Hope you had a wonderful Christmas!
My Ella and Azlan are well. (Please See the picture I attached)
I think I have told you that although Ella is a sassy girl, she talks to me when I am not giving her my full attention…and Azlan is such a “boy”, but he loves his mom!
You ladies should be proud; Bella and Azlan have both turned out to be wonderful companions. Maybe my talents as pack leader had to do a little with their behavior, but I think that your breeding qualities definitely played the larger role. Both intelligent with perfect personalities!
I am so pleased with these two loves and if I thought I could, I would keep adding to my pack! Well, enough bragging…
I visit your site often and will keep in touch!
Best wishes for the New Year!
Cheryl

Hi Susan and Catharine,
I wanted to send you a holiday greeting from one of your former babies, McKinley, pictured with his sister Emma, who he loves very much. McKinley wanted you to know that he misses you, but that he is very happy in his new home, and that he is a very loving, gentle, kind, and well behaved little boy. His mommy is crazy about him! He also gets to go see his real sister Bella quite often, and they are always soooo happy to see each other. (We are going to try to get you a picture of both of them together). McKinley’s mommy wants to thank you both once again for bringing him to her, and we wanted to wish you both a joyful and blessed holiday season!
Hope you are all well!

Hi Cathryn and Susan,
Hope you and your families are well and enjoying the Holiday season. Our babies, Duchess and Boomer are looking forward to another Christmas and all the festivities and visitors. It is hard to believe that our Duchess will be 4 yrs. old in a couple of months. She has really been the best little "dog". She has to put up with allot from her brother, Boomer. She can put him in his place even though he is twice her size. Boomer is such a tender hearted "little" (21 lbs.) guy. His goal in life is to be just like Duchess when he grows up. He follows her around and copies just about everything she does. He definitely is the baby of the family and quite the little tattler and talker. He tells us everything that goes on!
We love them and could not imagine life without them. You should be proud of the puppies you raise. They are the best!!
Merry Christmas and the Happiest of New Years.
Bless you,
Dennis, Vicki, Duchess and Baby Boomer Ramey

Cathryn & Susan,
This is Debbie Gose here. I bought Kiko( Bentley X Ivory) from you in July... Kiko is going to be 8 months on January 1st. We had her spayed October 17th. Also I am just wondering about how big see will be? She is about 8 lbs now and she is just an adorable dog but she seems smaller than my Amber was at that age unless she grows exceptionally fast the next 4 months. I don't care if she is small we all love her anyway but I was just wondering.
...Thanks and all of you and your families have a Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year.

Susan and Cathryn,
We just wanted to share the picture of Bentley (Beamer's pup) with you. Bella is with him, but was aquired before we learned of you guys.
I know we have told you many times, but he is such a sweet little guy. Very easy going, happy, loves all. He is so secure and has no fear - sometimes to a fault : )
What a wonderful job you have done. I really believe that one of the best things that you do for the puppies and their new adopted families is that you keep them until you know they are old enough to be taken from their mom. We have another shih tzu that the breeder just carelessly handed her over at 5 weeks. We didn't know any better and were so excited to get such a little thing. However, after getting Bentley and talking with you two, I see the difference in them spending the appropriate amount of time with their mother. It is just night and day in our two dogs and their anxiety and comfort levels with others.
Also wanted to tell you that my daughter had twins 8 months ago and Bentley loves them (he loves kids in general). When they visit he watches over them. Crawls next to them in their seat to take a nap. He even will steal a sock right off of their feet trying to get them to play (of course they are too little to play).
Enjoy the photo!
Thanks again,
Cindy and Debi

Catherine and Susan,
I just wanted to let you know how Beamer is doing. WONDERFUL!!! He is a happy, healthy little dog and has fit into our family just perfectly. He has adjusted well to the kids and now plays with them and when they get to be too much, he just gets on my lap. They absolutely worship him.
He goes on a daily walk every morning at 5:30 am (UGH) but I feel that it's only fair to him to burn off a little energy from sleeping all night. And as for sleeping, well, he sleeps on our bed! I said I would never have a dog sleep in bed with me but he has managed to do it, almost since day one. You never told me how bad he SNORES!!!!! Sometimes he wakes me up because he is snoring so loud and he is usually flat on his back with all four feet in the air!
We are getting the kids' picture taken on Saturday and we are including Beamer in the photos. I will send you one once we get them back.
Thank you so much for trusting us to take Beamer into our home. We love him more than anything and I really do think he is very happy with us.
Lori Snyder
NOTE from Cathryn and Susan...BEAMER is one of our Studs that we neutered and placed with Lori.

Just a quick update on the kids. The munchkins, Ketu and Jamling, are coming along beautifully. They are just under 3 pounds but very sturdy now. They eat their breakfast with gusto (especially since I cut back to feeding them only in the morning). Their hair is now shiny and growing where once not so long ago it was limp, sparse and pulled out easily. Jamling is a cutie patootie with LOADS of personality. He is really quite the hambone. Hugh would be very proud of him. Ketu is building more confidence every day---she is quite a beautiful little girl. If you saw her now, I am not sure that I could pry her away from you. She has HUGE eyes in a very delicate little face--she is quite the looker.
Tashi had difficulty adjusting (not to Jamling, but to Ketu). So, it was off to obedience classes for little Ms. Tashi. She HATED them but did quite well in class. She is not thrilled with Ketu but it is getting easier every day. Tashi think there'sonly room for one little diva. Lilli, of course, is an old hand at this now so she likes the munchkins. She lets them walk all over her at will. Peace is slowly returning to the kingdom.
My sister's kids are doing great. Tenzig just turned one---he's quite the affectionate one. He's quite taken with Ketu and is very protective of her even though he is about 10 times her size. Khandro is a very handsome creature with a very sunny personality. He still doesn't understand potty training all that well so we're still working on that. Khandro is not the sharpest knife in the drawer but his personality definitely makes up for it. Then there's Norbu---or the Prince of Darkness as we call him. He is quite imperious and spoiled. He loves Tashi with a pure, white passion. And, yes, he still screams when he doesn't get his way. I have never heard sounds like that come from a dog. Never.
I hope that this e-mail finds you and yours happy and well. Wishing you the happiest of Christmases and the best of New Years. Thanks you, again, for our wonderful fur babies.

Hi Susan,
I really love those puppies from Livvy@Jr. I was wondering about the cute little boy pup.
Is he as sweet as he looks? I love his markings! Of course, I'm always trying to talk my mom into a little girl
since we love our Wendy so much.
Big news, Peter finally got a job in Mi. and we will be moving there
very soon. Anyway, I might want to get another doggie from you...
Well, maybe I'll call you this week. We are in the middle of packing and listing the house and the
holidays. But, I always have time to look at your great web site!!
Take Care,
Janice

We just wanted to send a HUGE Congrats your way on all the new babies! You both sound VERY busy!
I just looked at your website (I do this on a regular basis now) and I am in love with Livvy and JR. They are just so adorable. I would love to have them, but not sure I could convince Adam that it is a good idea to get 2 more babies
The girls just went for their hair appointments and my groomer is so in love with both of them. She asked me to recommend a Shih Tzu breeder and of course I gave her your info - hope that was OK!
We hope you BOTH have a very happy holiday season and a safe and healthy New Year 2008!

Hi Susan and Cathryn, Casey just wanted to wish you a very Merry Christmas (along with his mommy and daddy) He is 11 lbs and almost one year old. He is still very special and we adore him. He's extremely active and he and Benji play a lot. When Benji is tired he can entertain himself for a long time. He loves for us to throw his toys and he's wonderful at bringing them back so we can do it again and again and again. He is extremely close to my almost 3 year old grand daughter, they play so well together. Thank you so very much for "making" such a lovable, adorable, special little guy and mostly thank you for letting us have him. He has made our lives wonderful again.
We took pictures of him with his santa hat, but he doesn't like to wear it; he prefers to chew on it. I couldn't decide which one was the best so I'm sending them all. God Bless you both, Mary Hinkley

Dear Cathryn and Susan,
I just had Leo's 6 month pictures taken. They turned out so well, I wanted to send you one.
Leo is so loving and sweet. He loves to play with Rosie and Ginger, but he likes to know that I'm near by. He loves to give kisses and snuggles!!
Thank you for such a sweet little boy!
